Siheung Youth Foundation Holds 11th International Youth Club Festival with 26,000 Participants

The 11th Siheung Youth Club Festival, titled “MOIM INTERNATIONAL,” drew 26,000 participants and 584 youth clubs to Siheung City Hall on the 17th, showcasing international cultural exchanges and artificial intelligence integrations.

Fantasy & Market Impact

  • Community Engagement Metrics: Total attendance scaled to 26,000 participants.
  • Technological Integration: AI deployments within festival frameworks were presented.

Global Collaboration Meets Local Youth Leadership

Organized by the Siheung Youth and Youth Foundation, the event positioned young people as the primary architects of the festival grounds. Beyond domestic participation, the agenda centered heavily on cross-border artistic collaboration. Representatives from the UK-based youth organization Creative Youth and the youth arts collective Dillon Dance integrated directly with Siheung-based groups following a formal international exchange memorandum of understanding signed in 2024.

Visual artist Himali Patel and musician Jeomy, both affiliated with Creative Youth, participated to practice international cultural exchange through art. A representative from the British organization highlighted the organic nature of the cross-cultural engagement. “Aside from performances, it was impressive to see young people naturally interacting and sharing interests across various experience booths,” the representative stated.

Expanding Partnerships and Regional Infrastructure

The international footprint extended to East Asia through an ongoing pipeline with Siheung’s friendship city, Hachioji, Japan. Hachioji officials visited the festival grounds to observe youth activities following a visit by the Siheung Youth and Youth Foundation to Hachioji this past May.

Local institutional backing anchored the logistical execution of the gathering. The Siheung Police Station, the Siheung Surfing Association, and Wave Park managed interactive booths, while the Cheoeumcheoreom Volunteer Society oversaw on-site safety management.

Foundation leadership underscored that 10 years of operational experience allowed the organization to create an event where youth can unfold their dreams and talents. Organizers intend to utilize the framework established to continue developing the festival by incorporating international exchange and artificial intelligence technology.
