Today, Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order issued a press release announcing the remastering of the masterpiece urban development sim “Cities: Skylines” for PS5/Xbox Series X|S “Cities: Skylines – Remastered”. It has been revealed that the overseas release is scheduled for February 15, 2023.
“Cities: Skylines – Remastered” includes an increase in the number of city tiles that can be built (from 9 in the previous generation to 25), UX improvements including quick selection tools, precision placement and distance display, snap options, It features a new environment control panel, map editor and extensive graphics enhancements and is priced at $39.99/£34.99/€39.99. A free upgrade will be offered to existing PS4/Xbox One version and DLC purchasers. (The remastered DLC at the time of release will be available up to the “Airports” expansion, and further remastered versions of DLC will be provided in the coming months. Please note that we are waiting for a follow-up report regarding domestic support.)
