Social and environmental initiative for the benefit of Dar Al Atfal

It aims to create a green space through the planting of regarding fifty fruit and olive trees, and a vegetable garden to contribute to the food security of the establishment, indicates a press release from Procter & Gamble.

Indeed, this project will allow from next year, according to the same source, a harvest of 1.25T of olives, 3T of citrus fruits as well as other fruits and vegetables. The action was also accompanied by a gardening workshop, with the aim of providing participants with the know-how and tools necessary for the management of crops and the market garden as well as their sustainable maintenance. A donation of hygiene products was provided by Procter & Gamble to meet the necessary needs of the residents of Dar Al Atfal Sidi Bernoussi. “We are making the necessary efforts to ensure that our brands make a positive contribution to society, through the various social and environmental actions that we carry out in close collaboration with our partners”, declared the Communications Director of Procter & Gamble Morocco, Zainab Alji.

In addition, the director indicated that a program of regular donations has been developed in partnership with the Food Bank. It represents, according to her, a real bridge between Procter & Gamble and nearly a hundred social protection establishments and associations at the national level.
