The Social Security Administration (SSA), like every month, sends the monthly payments for its beneficiaries and in this note we inform you of the schedule.

You should know that the SSA runs the national social security program made up of the retiree, survivors, and disability insurance programs. In that sense, it administers the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program for the elderly, blind and disabled. In addition, it is in charge of assigning Social Security numbers to individuals residing in the United States.

Social Security benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments increased 8.7% in 2023. This is the annual cost of living adjustment (COLA) required by law.

The increase began with benefits Social Security recipients receive in January 2023; while in SSI payments began on December 30, 2022.
