South Korean Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur approached Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in a Premier League top scorer struggle three rounds before the end of the competition.
Son scored a goal against Liverpool, bringing the South Korean tally to 20 goals, to be close to Salah, who tops the list with 22 goals.
The match between Liverpool and Tottenham in the 36th week of the week ended in a positive tie with a goal for each side, in a meeting held in the “Reds” stronghold, “Anfield”.
The South Korean has become a threat to Salah’s position at the top, as “Spurs” have three matches against Arsenal in the London summit, in addition to two matches at hand against Burnley and Norwich City.
In contrast, Liverpool have three matches against Aston Villa, Southampton and finally against Wolverhampton.
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United player, comes in third place with 18 goals.
But Ronaldo has one match with United before the end of the season against Crystal Palace, where the “Red Devils” played 37 games.
