Why did “Sound of Freedom” have trouble getting distributed?
In an interview with Agustín Laje Arrigoni’s YouTube channel, the producer of “Sound of Freedom”, Eduardo Verástegui, said that the film was ready in 2019 and that it was going to be distributed by 21st Century Fox, but because the company was acquired by The Walt Disney Company, the film was in limbo about whether it would reach theaters or not because Disney did not consider it to go with its usual productions.
