Sharjah 24 – Asaad Khalil:

The promising Brazilian striker, 16-year-old Andric, will move to the ranks of Spanish Real Madrid in 2024, coming from Palmeiras Club, according to what the two clubs announced.

The royal club said in a statement, “Real Madrid, Palmeiras, Andrek and his family have reached an agreement that allows the player to join Real Madrid when he reaches the legal age in July 2024,” when he turns 18.

He continued, “Until then, Andrique will continue training with Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the coming days to visit the club’s facilities.”

The Brazilian club added that “the terms and value of the deal are confidential,” while Brazilian reports indicated that it would amount to 70 million euros ($75 million).

And the Brazilian champion quoted the player as saying, “Until I reach Real Madrid, I will continue to dedicate myself as I have always done to give everything I have for Palmeiras: more goals, more victories, more titles and more happiness for our fans.”

Andrek has outstanding technique, exceptional physical strength for his age, speed, and the ability to shoot with both feet.

He will thus become the third Brazilian teenager attacking player to sign for Real Madrid in recent years while still a minor, joining the Spanish giants upon reaching the age of 18 in compliance with the international transfer rules stipulated by FIFA.

Vinicius Junior, now 22, signed with Real Madrid in 2017 before joining the club a year later, while Rodrygo, 21, signed the contract in 2018 before arriving the following year.
