“Stammplatz”: ER is a top candidate as Lewandowski’s successor at Bayern

H(all) good things come in threes!

After Ryan Gravenberch (19) and Noussair Mazraoui (24), FC Bayern has the next Ajax star on the list. In the new episode “Stammplatz” of BILD’s daily soccer podcast, soccer boss and Bayern insider Christian Falk names Sébastien Haller (27) as the most likely new Bayern snapper.

Falk: “I got the information that Bayern had knocked on the consultant’s door, if they lose Lewandowski, he’s a really hot player.”

So are we going to experience FC Ajax Munich soon?

The fact is: Haller has everything Bayern are looking for! “Weight, size and play area fit. Haller is also affordable. I can well imagine that,” the Bayern insider continued.

Ajax had brought the former Frankfurter (2017-2019) from London in January 2021 from Eintracht’s semi-final opponents in the Europa League, West Ham United. Transfer fee back then: 22 million euros.

Even if the Dutch would call twice now, a transfer for FC Bayern would be feasible.
