Stefano Nazzi is turning his investigative lens to Jack the Ripper for a new podcast titled Incubi: Londra, 1888, developed in collaboration between Sergio Bonelli Editore and il Post, Fumettologica reported. The project marks part of the official celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Dylan Dog, the iconic Italian horror comic book character created by Tiziano Sclavi in 1986.
From Comic Book Pages to True Crime Realities
The project was formally unveiled on Thursday, October 29, at the Lucca Comics & Games 2026 festival. During a panel discussion titled Stefano Nazzi racconta gli incubi di Dylan Dog, journalist Stefania Carini joined the author on stage.
Carini presented selected issues of the Sclavi creation that touch on themes mirrored in real-world criminal investigations. Nazzi used those fictional narrative springboards to dissect historical mechanics of serial violence and his own methodology in crime journalism.
Nazzi has written for il Post since 2021. He commands a large following across Italy primarily for Indagini, a monthly audio series launched in 2022 that meticulously reconstructs judicial inquiries, courtroom trials, and media coverage surrounding high-profile criminal cases.
