The Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office has communicated some information concerning the violent death of Baroness Myriam Ullens, shot dead Wednesday morning in front of her home in Ohain, in the town of Lasne.

It confirms in particular the motive of a financial nature, in the context of a family dispute. Wednesday, after a discussion in the residence of his father and his mother-in-law, Nicolas Ullens would have waited for the exit of the vehicle piloted by Myriam Ullens and would have struck it with his own car, before going out to shoot six times in the direction of the victim.

Upon arrival, police discovered the lifeless body of 70-year-old Myriam Ullens. At her side was her husband, the wealthy Baron Guy Ullens, father of the shooter, shocked and injured in the leg.

The death of Baroness Myriam Ullens is a tragic event that has shocked many. The confirmation of the motive being of a financial nature and stemming from a family dispute only adds to the sadness of the situation. Our thoughts are with the Ullens family during this difficult time, as they try to come to terms with the loss of a loved one. May justice be served and may Baroness Myriam Ullens rest in peace.
