Major US stock indices fell during the first hour of trading, Thursday, with major company stocks remaining under pressure from rising US Treasury bond yields.
The declines were reinforced by investors evaluating the recent gains of major technology companies and the release of mixed economic data.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 18.76 points, or 0.06 percent, to 33,017.17 points.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 fell by 10.78 points, or 0.26 percent, to 4,175.99 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 52.26 points, or 0.41 percent, to 12,768.97 points.
