The Tarom airline reports that an “isolated security incident” occurred on Monday in which several files were affected by a ransomware virus.

“We mentioned that all the flights were operated according to the flight plan, and because of this incident, the flight operations or the company’s reservation system were not affected,” Tarom states in a statement released on Monday evening.
According to the cited source, the company is currently “in permanent contact with the authorities that manage such incidents” and is also making “all the necessary efforts to identify the causes of this event”.
