Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic sentenced three foreign mercenaries to death

Britons Aiden Aslin, Sean Pinner and Moroccan Saadoun Brahim were sentenced to death by the Supreme Court of the DPR.

They were found guilty of mercenarism, terrorism and acts of violent seizure of power.

Three mercenaries surrendered to Russian coalition forces in mid-April. Pinner and Aslin asked the British Prime Minister to exchange them for opposition Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk.

In court, the mercenaries partially admitted their guilt. One of the lawyers for Aiden Aslin, Sean Pinner and Saadoun Brahim promised to appeal death sentence.

Earlier it was reported that the court of the DPR will sentence them to the death penalty in order to force the UK to appeal to the authorities of the Republic. Thus, London actually recognizes Donetsk.
