Suwon FC, Gimcheon Sangmu and 2-2 unfortunate draw… Final B ‘Leader’

Pro soccer K League 1 Suwon FC continued their undefeated streak against Gimcheon by decorating the last match of the season with a draw against Sangmu Gimcheon.

In the Hanawon Q K League 1 2022 Round 34 match held at Suwon Sports Complex on the 2nd, Suwon drew 2-2 with Gimcheon.

Suwon took the lead with Lars’ goal in the 16th minute, but Kimcheon Kim Han-gil conceded a goal in the 31st minute.

However, in the 47th minute of the first half, Suwon’s tall defender Jackson scored a dramatic comeback goal. A corner kick raised by Yong-Yong from the right was headed by Jackson.

Suwon, who finished the first half with a 2-1 lead, started the second half, excluding Park Joo-ho and adding Kim Hyun to aim for an additional goal.

No goals were scored throughout the second half, and Suwon’s victory was predicted, but Gimcheon showed his potential. In the 42nd minute of the second half, Kim Kyung-min defeated two Suwon defenders inside the box and hit a ground ball that broke the net.

Suwon, who secured 1 point on the day, took the lead in the Final B with 12 wins, 9 draws, 13 losses and 45 points, ahead of FC Seoul, which has 41 points.

Suwon will play the league round 35 against Daegu FC at DGB Daegu Bank Park on the 9th.
