Indeed, over the years and the different successions of the Amon family at its head, the original values of the company have been diluted. The company is today accused of corruption by the Public Ministry of the Confederation, which has been conducting an investigation since 2015 into its actions in several countries around the world.
When the procedure was opened, it related to events that took place in 14 countries: Ghana, Togo, Philippines, Egypt, Brazil, India, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam. It is still in progress, confirms to us today the federal prosecutor’s office, without giving more details. In Brazil, the company paid 135 million francs to put an end to its legal troubles and to be able to continue doing business there. Faced with the Swiss authorities, however, Sicpa continues to claim his innocence.

“Orlando (USA), world capital of amusement parks”, Sunday July 24 on M6
Sunday July 24 at 11:05 pm on M6, Bernard de la Villardière will invite you to follow an unpublished summer news from the magazine “Enquête Exclusive”: “Orlando (USA), world capital of amusement parks”.
With seventy-five million visitors each year, Orlando (Florida) is the number one tourist destination in America, ahead of New York and Las Vegas. It is the city with the highest number of amusement parks per square kilometer. Disney, Universal or even Sea World… The big names in entertainment have settled there. A global success that gave the idea to small family parks, such as Icon Park, Fun Spot America or even Machine Gun America (where children shoot with weapons of war from the age of 13), to try their luck here .
To stand out, these challengers have embarked on a race for records: the highest free fall in the world at a height of ninety meters, the highest catapult that propels customers to four hundred and fifty meters in the air or even the highest flying chairs.
However, even fifty years ago, Orlando was a small agricultural town where oranges grew. In 1971, Walt Disney changed the fate of this peaceful corner of Florida by building the first theme park there: Magic Kingdom, today the most visited in the world.
Since then, Orlando has three hundred parks, for an annual turnover of eighty billion dollars and employs three hundred thousand people. Its unemployment rate is one of the lowest in the United States.
If the magic operates in the parks, outside it is often disillusionment. Apartments are rare and rents are overpriced. Along the road to the parks, decrepit motels house an unusual population: the workers of these parks, unable to find accommodation elsewhere given their low salaries. They settle with their families in small rooms with Spartan comfort. Some have no choice but to sleep in their car.
Investigate Orlando, the entertainment capital of the world, where life isn’t so fun for everyone.

Ried im Innkreis.
On May 14, 2022, around 2:00 p.m., around 100 passengers were in a regional train just outside the Rieder train station. Most of them were on their way to the Bundesliga soccer match at the Rieder Stadium. When some of the fans on the embankment saw a group of around 40 supporters of the opposing team, a stranger pressed the emergency brake. Most of the occupants left the train immediately followingwards and a mass brawl ensued between the two enemy fan groups. Two police officers were the first to arrive at the scene of the crime and tried to stop one of the train occupants for an identity check. As a result, granite stones lying on the railway embankment were thrown at them by several previously unknown companions of the man. In order not to be hit by the granite stones, some of which were the size of a fist, the police officers were forced to stop the official act and take cover behind their emergency vehicle. The emergency vehicle itself was severely damaged by the stones. After other law enforcement officials arrived to assist, they noticed a 49-year-old from the Linz-Land district holding a granite stone. After he did not follow the request to put the granite stone away, but instead moved in the direction of the officers, they had to use pepper spray to defend themselves. The man was immediately given medical treatment and, when questioned, stated that he had not suffered any physical damage. A total of eleven pepper spray attacks were used once morest football fans in the railway embankment area following they threw granite stones in the direction of the police officers. It is thanks to a fortunate circumstance that no police officers were injured, the police report.
