Sonja White, an elementary school teacher in the Dallas area, decided to give children who had never been on a plane the real experience of going on an international trip. In the video, they first take photos of each student to make fake passports. After completing the safety instructions, they enter their class, which is named the Mexico flight of the famous airline Southwest. Each student was given passports and boarding passes.
The teacher is paying attention to every little thing of the children. They showed the children all the equipment needed for a flight. Not only was the classroom set up like an airplane seat, but a video of the plane taking off on YouTube was played at the front of the class. Then, before the flight departs, another teacher comes in as a flight attendant and conducts a safety discussion with the child passengers before the plane doors close. After the classroom plane ‘landed’ in Mexico, the students went through customs, bought things at a souvenir shop set up by the teacher, and ate at a restaurant set up inside the classroom, according to a video posted by Sonja herself on social media. This fun classroom flight video has been viewed by millions of people. But soon the children were able to board a real plane.

The viral video of the teacher has also caught the attention of Southwest Airlines. The plane that Sonja Teacher arranged to take the children was a Southwest Airlines flight to Mexico. Airlines decided to give a real field trip to all the first class students of the school. The dream of the teacher and the children came true when Southwest Airlines invited the students and school authorities to go on a trip and see first hand how the planes work.
Waiting for the children at the airline’s yard was an original Southwest Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. One by one the children started climbing into the plane as if they had entered a world of wonder. They interacted with the flight attendants without any hesitation from the experience of flying in the class, took their seats and took the snacks provided by the attendants. Then the pilot of the plane came to teach the students more about the plane and gave them the necessary instructions.

Afterward, students were able to watch planes take to the skies from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
