In his 49 years, Andrei Gubin was never married, although he was a favorite of women. The artist was very attached to his mother, and soon after her death he himself became seriously ill. I had to leave the stage due to excruciating pain, but fans still hope for the return of their favorite singer.
However, Gubin himself had long forgotten about creativity and dismissed the idea of a second conquest of Russian show business. Doctors gave him a rare diagnosis – left-sided prosopalgia. This is a neurological disease from which it is almost impossible to cure. The singer feels pain in the entire left half of his body, his face especially suffers – his teeth even fall out.
“I have trouble breathing every day. It’s hard to breathe, you know? I’m dying, and you’re driving me onto the stage. It’s not at all easy for me to stand with a microphone while listening to a soundtrack,” the artist complained to reporters.
But still, Gubin tries to look for joy in life and even has affairs with women. He prefers mostly young girls around 22 years old. He tries to go on dates when the pain subsides, and even hopes to get married.
“It happens like this: I got up in the morning, and everything around me is buzzing and making noise. Sometimes I want to go on a date in a good mood, but my face is crooked from the noise. Well, what kind of date?” – he said.
He also has another problem. According to the singer, many ladies agree to meet him, anticipating big money. However, Gubin does not condemn greedy brides.
“I’m a lonely person, I’m mostly at home, but sometimes I go out – to events and towards women. And there are ladies, but… <...> I don’t blame girls when they have an excessive desire for money. But it doesn’t work out for me. I still look for the problem in myself first. They write about people like me in profiles: in active search. That’s how it should be. Of course, I’m not like Carlson, in my prime. But for now I can give a plus sign that it’s in active search. A person should not be alone,” the singer poured out his soul.
