Test Achats alerts to phishing attempts on its behalf

2023-08-25 08:17:18

Test Achats warns once morest phishing attempts on its behalf. Fraudulent emails mimicking notifications from its complaints platform are currently in circulation.

The consumer organization therefore recommends not to click on any link and to delete the e-mail.

To detect phishing, Test Achats recommends checking the email address from which the notification originated. “If it does not have a test-achats.be or test-aankoop.be extension, it is indeed a scam“. In case of doubt, the consumer can directly check in his personal space if he has actually received a reaction from the company in the context of a complaint lodged on the platform. Companies, for their part, are invited to contact 02 542 33 00 to carry out the necessary checks.
