According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, my country’s total import and export of services in 2022 will be 5,980.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. As of 2021, it has ranked second in the world for eight consecutive years.
In the first half of 2023, my country’s service trade will continue to grow. According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce, my country’s total service import and export volume in the first half of the year was 3,135.84 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.5%.
The export of knowledge-intensive services has become a new bright spot in the development of my country’s service trade. In the first half of the year, the import and export of knowledge-intensive services was 1,363.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%, accounting for 43.5% of the total service import and export, an increase of 1.5 percentage points year-on-year. Among them, the export of knowledge-intensive services was 792.34 billion yuan, an increase of 16%; the import was 571.58 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5%.
