The Beast… sexually assaulted more than 100 corpses of women in hospital morgues!

In a case described as “unprecedented in the history of British justice” and shocking the country, a British court issued, on Wednesday, new sentences against a sixty-year-old British man who was sentenced to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting more than a hundred bodies of women in hospital morgues.

During the pronouncement of his four-year prison sentence on charges of having sex with women’s corpses and possessing pornographic materials belonging to 23 victims between 2007 and 2020, which is the final stage of this case, David Fuller, who admitted his actions, did not seem affected, according to AFP.

In December 2021, this 68-year-old electrician received a life sentence for similar actions against dozens of dead women, and for killing two young women in 1987.

In total, David Fuller sexually assaulted the bodies of “no less than 101 women and girls, although the identities of ten of these have not been identified and may never be,” according to what the public prosecutor confirmed during the hearing. While the youngest victim was nine years old, the oldest was a hundred years old.

“You will be in prison until the last day of your life,” the judge said while pronouncing the additional sentence issued against Fuller. Turning to the facts, the Attorney General noted that this was a case “unprecedented in the history of British justice”.

Fuller worked as an electrician for two hospitals in the south of England on night shifts, so he was often left alone after the staff left, so he had easy access to the morgues and refrigerators where the bodies were placed.

Fuller’s actions were not revealed for more than ten years, but in December 2020, thanks to DNA techniques, the police were able to stop him as the suspect in the 1987 murder of two young women in Tunbridge Wells (southeast England). Fuller sexually assaulted and strangled the two women.

During a search of his home, the investigators found a very large amount of pornographic images, in addition to video clips he filmed during the assaults he was committing in the morgues.

Great disgust

Before the verdict was issued on Wednesday, family members of the victims had interventions before the court, including the daughter of one of the victims, who indicated that she felt “great disgust”, describing Fuller as a “monster”.

Another victim’s brother said, “David Fuller has blotted out every memory I have of my sister, because all I can think about is what he did to her while she should have been resting.”

Last month, the families of the victims were awarded financial compensation for the trauma they had experienced as a result of this case.

The judge addressed his conversation to David Fuller, telling him, “You did not care about the dignity of the dead. Your perverted actions towards those you killed and the women you assaulted after their death show that you are unscrupulous.”

This case sparked panic in the United Kingdom, prompting members of the House of Lords to demand tougher punishment for anyone who sexually assaults dead bodies. Currently, those who commit similar acts are punished with two years’ imprisonment.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson commented on Fuller’s conviction of the two murders dating back to 1987, while then-Minister of Health Sajid Javid launched an independent investigation to find out how the sixty-year-old managed to sexually assault corpses in public hospitals for a long time without anyone realizing what was happening.

The results of the investigation are expected to be released next year.
