It would seem that it is more and more complicated to keep a game or a game project secret. Indeed, it is increasingly common for projects that are still very secret within a company to be shared with the general public and these leaks happen for games of all sizes.

This time, Ubisoft finds itself back in the spotlight, but with a game that some might not have expected: a Assassin’s Creed.

While some Ubisoft projects did not necessarily convince during the recent Ubisoft Forward, this project could well appeal to more people, even if in theory, it comes to compete with another game from the same company, creating a somewhat special situation.

Of course, this remake is not planned for immediately, however, there is enough to be hyper if you are a fan of the title released a few years ago.

A remake for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag would arrive in the future?

It’s through my city and its sources that we learn that a remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is in the studios, being prepared for a still distant release. While the next opus: Assassin’s Creed Mirage hasn’t been released yet and will only arrive in October of this year, the company would already be working on the project.

What is very special with this remake is that it is in direct opposition to the project Skulls and Bone. Indeed, still according to Kotaku sources, Ubisoft would be reviewing its strategy and would transform the game into a more PVE experience, less PvP access and where resource harvesting would be less important.

A turn for Skulls and Bones which has once again been shifted and which would come dangerously close to the style of this next remake of Assassin’s Creed.

As always, the leaks are to be taken with a grain of salt, but given the many leaks of the French company’s projects, it would not be really surprising to soon have an official announcement of Black Flag remake.
