the club comes out of silence before the passage in front of the CNOSF!

Zapping Our Mondial EXCLUDED: the “Little sister” interview with Geyoro, Karchaoui and Périsset!

The Girondins of Bordeaux show their last card. After being administratively relegated National 1 by the DNCG, the club saw its appeal rejected by the French Football Federation. The Girondins spend this Thursday in hearing before the National Olympic and Sports Committee to try a last resort. The latter will have to decide whether to stay in Ligue 2 or not. Before this decisive game, Bordeaux formalized an agreement in principle for the sale of Sékou Mara in Southampton. This transfer should bring in 13 million euros and prove to be decisive for the club.

On Twitter, the Girondins wanted to clarify their situation in a series of statements. The club believes in particular that the measures taken by the management will allow them “to evolve serenely in Ligue 2 thanks to a healthy restructuring”.

Full statements

We will appear this afternoon before the CNOSF for a conciliation hearing. We are determined and confident in our ability to convince because of the solidity of our case. Explanations and answers to some untruths. Our file has been simplified and improved. Here are some indisputable truths recalled by the Commercial Court of Bordeaux in a judgment of 07/19 approving the conciliation protocol:

  1. the agreement ensures the sustainability of the FCGB in L2 thanks to significant savings, financing & restructuring measures which guarantee a positive cash position until 06/2023, a deleveraging of nearly €40M with an abandonment of the debt 75% bringing us back to the standards.
  2. Significant efforts by our main partners, such as the Métropole de Bordeaux, which is postponing the payment of rent for the stadium for next season for 4 years.

The judgment, in accordance with the requisitions of the Public Prosecutor, validates the absence of a state of cessation of payments, the durability of the agreements, the absence of infringement of the rights of third parties. Therefore, nothing is opposed, legally and economically, to the maintenance of the club in L2.

Some false statements then: It would be forbidden to bring new elements. This is false: according to administrative case law, the FFF, like the CNOSF, can take into account elements produced after the decision of the Appeals Board. Bordeaux would be in the same situation as Strasbourg. Fake. The situation of the FCGB is in no way comparable. This is evidenced by the approval of the Commercial Court: we have the funds to evolve serenely in L2 thanks to a healthy restructuring.

The Club has accepted an offer of €13m for Sékou Mara. This demonstrates the financial solidity of the club thanks to a reconstituted player asset: thanks to this single operation, the club has already achieved almost all of its sales target (€14 million) in the off-season.

to summarize
