The competent investigation authorities in Egypt refused to take a decision on the request submitted by the Egyptian actress Sherine Abdel Wahab through her lawyer to prevent her ex-husband, the Egyptian artist Hossam Habib, from traveling on the grounds that he was accused of beating and stealing her.
These authorities confirmed that they are still examining the communications submitted by the two parties and listening to their statements regarding the accusations attributed to them, noting that they will not decide on the request until following an official list of accusations is drawn up.
According to “Madam Net”, the Egyptian Public Prosecution “is still completing hearing statements and reviewing the documents submitted by the two parties in the communications and accusations exchanged between them.”
