The content of Zelensky’s decree on the introduction of a state of emergency in Ukraine became known – Panorama International

KIEV, February 23. /TASS/. The decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the introduction of a state of emergency in the country from February 24, in particular, involves a ban on the dissemination of information that “destabilizes the situation”, as well as a ban on those liable for military service to leave their place of residence without warning. The text of the document, which the Verkhovna Rada plans to consider on Wednesday, was published by the deputy of parliament from the European Solidarity party Oleksiy Goncharenko in his Telegram channel.

“Within the territory of [регионов Украины] the following activities are introduced: <...> prohibition for conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists to change their place of residence without the knowledge of the relevant territorial recruitment center <...>; a ban on the production and distribution of information materials that can destabilize the situation <...>“, the text says.

According to Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the clause on “destabilizing” information is controversial as “directly related to the closure of the media without trial.” At the same time, there is no clause on banning parties, which was also discussed, in the document.
