The court extended the arrest of five defendants in the case of the explosion on the Crimean bridge

The Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the term of arrest of five defendants in the case of the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge until April 12. On March 2, the same court extended the arrest of three other defendants in the case until April 14 and 15.

“The court ruled on the investigator’s petition to satisfy and extend the measure of restraint in the form of detention for citizens of the Russian Federation Artyom and Grigory Azatyan, citizens of Ukraine Roman Solomko and Vladimir Zloba, and also citizen of Armenia Artur Terchanyan,” RIA Novosti reported today, March 6, in court. Prior to this, the arrest was extended to Dmitry Heavy, Oleg Antipov and Alexander Bylin.

As a result of the explosion of the Crimean bridge on October 8 last year, four people died, the investigation considers the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to be the customer of the terrorist attack. The FSB named the head of military intelligence of Ukraine Kirill Budanov as the organizer of the terrorist attack, and 12 people are considered involved in the terrorist attack by the TFR.
