On Friday 5 April, the deadline for submitting funding applications for the “Business grant program to employ 5,000 unemployed people, aged 18-66, with an emphasis on the green economy and women”, closes, as 4,750 positions have already been filled, i.e. 95 % of the total number of available seats.
The aim of the action is to create new, “green” full-time jobs in companies that operate or will operate in the green economy. The grant covers up to 80% of the salary and contributions for 15 months, up to 12,264 euros per new job.
DYPA’s labor subsidy programs are aimed at private companies. Those interested in participating can submit their application exclusively online either a) through the DYPA e-services platform (dypa.gov.gr), or b) through gov.gr at the following link:
After submitting the application, DYPA confirms that the company meets the conditions and DYPA’s job counselors indicate candidates with the specialty and required qualifications stated by the employer. The employer selects the beneficiary and proceeds with the recruitment.
The total budget amounts to 50 million euros and is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
