The decline continues with 5,271 new cases of Covid-19 in one week

According to figures revealed this Tuesday, June 28, 2022, the Regional Health Agency recorded 5,271 new positive cases of covid-19 in Martinique from June 20 to 26, 2022.

This new week confirms the downward trend in the number of new cases. According to weekly figures from the ARS, 5,271 new positive cases were detected on the 16 929 tests achieved over the period between June 20 and 26, 2022, compared to 6935 case the previous week.

The total number since the start of the epidemic in Martinique is 204,098 cases.

Positivity rate: 31.1%

Incidence rate (per 100,000 inhabitants): 1,469 new cases

38 people are hospitalized including 4 in critical care (-2). They were 28 last week.

976 deaths are reported by the CHUM (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Martinique) since the start of the epidemic compared to 965 the previous week.
