The earlier crusader for Pelicans rookie EJ Liddell

E.J. Liddell (21 years old, 2.01 m, 41st pick in the draft) will unfortunately have to start his NBA career (at least we hope for him since he has not yet signed a contract with New Orleans) in re-education. The winger released from Ohio State (2019-22) suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the Summer League once morest Atlanta.

The injury was confirmed by MRI on Monday. Touched in the knee for the first time during the meeting, he then came back into play. He is going to have surgery and will be out indefinitely from there. Last year, the one who was rather expected before the draft in the 1st round was turning 19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.6 blocks per game in 33.2 minutes on average.
