One member of the Elden Ring modding Discord known as EvilCookie found the description of the object in the code, and Twitter user JesterPatches shared it in a recent tweet. The Elden Ring leak includes both an icon and what would have been the in-game description of the Crystal Ball. This ball would have allowed players to extract a crafting ingredient called Sleep Mist from sleeping NPCs.

According to description of objects, the Mist of Sleep was used to create powerful vials of Wonder Drugs, a type of potion in the Elden Ring. It’s unclear what effect the Sleep Mist had, but the text implies that it caused some kind of frenzy effect.
