The runoff granted a shocking result, with a large victory for Javier Milei (La Libertad Avanza) over the Kirchnerist candidate Sergio Massa (Unión por la Patria) who recognized the triumph of the libertarian. Milei won with more than 55% of the votes, against Massa’s 44% at the national level.
Milei obtained a victory in almost the entire country, except in three provinces: Buenos Aires, Santiago del Estero and Formosa. Córdoba was undoubtedly one of the provinces that gave a broad victory to the libertarian.
In Buenos Aires, Milei won in the interior, while he fell in some sectors of the Conurbano, but with a very good percentage of votes. The difference was 50.77 to 49.22.
