In the street. A week after a historic mobilization, teachers are again on the streets on Thursday to protest against the multiplication of health protocols in schools and the management of the crisis. This demonstration comes a few days after the revelations on the holidays of Jean-Michel Blanquer, the minister of education, in Ibiza, at the beginning of January.
Justice. The far-right presidential candidate Eric Zemmour is to be tried on appeal, early Thursday afternoon, for contesting a crime against humanity, for having argued, in October 2019, on the CNews channel, that the Marshal Philippe Pétain had ” Safe “ French Jews during World War II. This new judicial appointment takes place three days after the conviction of Mr. Zemmour for incitement to hatred by the Paris court, for his release on unaccompanied migrant minors. He immediately appealed.
Tours of France. Fabien Roussel visits the town of Grigny (Essonne), where the communist Philippe Rio was named, in September 2021, best mayor in the world by a London foundation. Socialist Anne Hidalgo will be in Creil (Oise), for the launch of her 80 local committees. The far-right candidate, Marine Le Pen, must go to Fréjus (Var), to the vice-president of the National Rally, David Rachline. Former Minister of Justice Christiane Taubira will hold a conference on youth in Lille (Nord), in front of the students of Sciences Po.
