Al-Marsad newspaper: The correspondent of “Al-Ikhbariya” channel confirmed that the Supreme Court denied granting any person who testified by sighting the crescent of the month of Ramadan, “Bisht”, and 5,000 riyals, indicating that this was not in its belief in the first place.

He added that whoever testifies regarding seeing the crescent of Ramadan is subject to many tests and questions to document what he saw.

Al-Ekhbariya TV correspondent added that the Al-Ahla Department of the Supreme Court contacted 11 observatories throughout the Kingdom to monitor the crescent of the month of Ramadan, noting that there are 39 courts throughout the Kingdom that open their doors to those who want to testify regarding the sighting of the Ramadan crescent.
