A short while ago, the family of the late leader, Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, arrived at the memorial to the martyrs of the armed forces in Nasr City, to commemorate the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The family laid a wreath at the tomb of the late leader and recited Al-Fatihah, amid the public presence and chants of “Long live Egypt”.

A number of citizens were keen to attend the memorial headquarters, read Al-Fatihah and celebrate the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victory, raising Egyptian flags and chanting “Long live Egypt” and national anthems.
