The fire was assigned the third number of complexity, presumably, the fire occurred on an area of ​​​​about 1 thousand square meters. m. “The information is being specified,” the Irkutsk governor said. The field is located 160 km southwest of the city of Kirensk, near the village of Verkhnemarkovo. Oil reserves are estimated at 20 million tons. The operator of the field is INK.

Regional Ministry of Emergency Situations informsthat the fire occurred at the process plant for the complex preparation of natural gas. “According to preliminary information, there is a flare burning of the installation, there is no threat to other installations,” the department reports.

The fire was extinguished by a private fire brigade and a local volunteer fire brigade, and automatic fire extinguishing systems were also involved. Fire brigades of the Ministry of Emergency Situations moved to the place. Then in the department clarifiedthat the area is 400 sq. m.
