The Lebanese actress, Stephanie Saliba, appeared on her page via Instagram, with a video that came as the first official comment on her part, after the crisis she faced with her arrest on the background of her relationship with the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, and the financial investigation he is exposed to.
Saliba thanked all the people who supported her in her case, including family, friends, and the press, stressing that there were those who saw the truth as it was and as it deserved, noting that she was subjected to a lot of injustice, and that there were those who slandered her for his own benefit.
Stephanie added that there were people who deliberately defamed her for the sake of personal agendas, and that she would not respond to these sayings that they made, considering that her right would be restored and that the injustice would not last.
