The Government of Río Negro called for joint meetings with the ATE, UPCN and Unter unions to determine the salary pattern for the last part of the year, after knowing the official inflation data for October. On Wednesday and Thursday there will be a strike by doormen that will affect the teaching of classes in Río Negro.
EThe National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) released the inflation data for October. According to the organization, the variation in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reached 8.3%, which represents a marked deceleration – more than four points.
In Río Negro, the Directorate of Statistics and Censuses announced that the Consumer Price Index in October was 7.1%, a number lower than inflation at the national level.
With these numbers, the Rio Negro government called joint meetings for this Friday at 12 in Viedma. As usual, the meetings of the Public Service Board with the ATE and UPCN unions will take place in parallel; and the teaching partnership with Unter, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor.
Not only will the salary offer for November and December salaries be derived from that meeting, It will also be determined what percentage of the fixed sum of 90,000 pesos that was recently paid with October salaries will remain in the public administration salary.
