The images that raise fears for the worst in Ukraine: a 13 km long Russian military convoy heads east (PHOTOS)

As Ukrainian forces continue to fortify their defenses in eastern Ukraine, satellite images reveal the existence of a large new Russian military convoy. In these photos taken by the American company Maxar on April 8, tanks and armored vehicles follow each other over an estimated distance of 13 km. The convoy then passed through the town of Velykyi Burluk, located south of Kharkiv, and headed east.

This is enough to reinforce Ukraine’s fears of suffering a major Russian offensive in the Donbass very soon. Moscow has indeed withdrawn its troops from the kyiv region and northern Ukraine to reposition them in the East. Many analysts also believe that Vladimir Putin wants to obtain a victory in the Donbass before the military parade on May 9 marking the Soviet victory over the Nazis in Red Square.

Volodymyr Zelensky thus warned on Sunday evening: “Next week will be no less important than this or the previous ones. Russian troops will move on to even more important operations in the east of our state”
