The iPhone 14 Pro is a hit all over the world, Apple forced to increase production

A few weeks ago, we told you that Apple was betting a lot on the iPhone 14 Pro. And obviously, it was a good choice. The high-end smartphone all over the world is so advanced that the Cuppertino company must revise its production upwards by sacrificing the “classic” iPhone 14.

As Apple intended, l’iPhone 14 Pro has met with great success all over the world. Suddenly, to meet demand, Apple is forced to revise its production upwards. This is the result of a survey by specialist Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Always reliable when it comes to the Apple brand, he explains that the firm has given new directives to its suppliers:

Due to high demand for the Pro model of the iPhone 14, my latest investigation indicates that Apple has asked Hon Hai (its supplier also known as Foxconn, editor’s note) to transfer the production lines of the iPhone 14 to iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone Pro will thus represent a greater share of sales, which will allow Apple to make more margin.

Sacrifice the iPhone 14

Apple therefore sacrifices part of its iPhone 14 to produce more Pro models and thus meet demand. According to information from the analyst, this would correspond to a 10% increase in production. Moreover, it is more difficult to obtain a Pro version currently: you have to wait until November to receive your iPhone Pro at home against 48 hours for the “classic” models.

It is not surprising that the iPhone 14 Pro is acclaimed: it is this model which offers the most novelties and performances. The iPhone 14 is more of an “enhanced version” of the iPhone 13. Apple knew this and wanted to “turn the tide” in sales between the “classic” and Pro versions. Successful bet. Now all that remains is to meet the demand.
