Al-Marsad newspaper: Lebanese activists circulated on social media videos that documented the moment of the attack on the Lebanese Minister of Energy, Walid Fayyad, as he was leaving a café in Beirut.

The Lebanese “An-Nahar” website stated that activists arrested the Minister of Energy and Water while he was in a public place, and beat him, causing him bruises on his face.

The attack took place following a number of Lebanese drowned off Tripoli, and they demanded that he justify the complete power outage for the citizens of Lebanon.
