He added, “We have asked everyone to maintain calm, and we hope that negotiations and mediations between Israel and Lebanon will resume quickly with the aim of calming matters and not escalation, as we have seen in public statements in recent days.”
Hochstein is expected to arrive in Beirut at the end of this week.
