Two days after the hearing of Rodolphe Saadé, CEO of CMA-CGM, the maritime transport group, to fight inflation, announced a reduction of 750 euros instead of 500, per 40-foot equivalent container for overseas sea like the metropolis.
During a hearing before the Senate on July 19, 2022, Rodolphe Saadé, the CEO of the maritime freight giant hammered, on several occasions in front of the senators, the series of measures adopted to deal with inflation. A way to cut short the debate on the taxation of super-profits which currently animates the National Assembly.
The CMA-CGM intends to participate in a national effort on purchasing power, but this measure should last only one year.
