Preparing Ministry of CultureTo organize the “Jacks Arts Festival” in the historic heart of Diriyah, and the festival’s activities targeting all segments of society will be held over ten days from 14 to 23 July 2022 AD, including unique interactive experiences across five regions, the first is the starting stage, then the creativity windows area , passing through the cherry tree, then a journey inside the Renaissance, and finally a tasting stage, during which visitors are introduced to creative experiences and cognitive, cultural and artistic dimensions.
Notable participating artists
The festival will also present, through the “windows of creativity” area, works of art by local and international names, including light installations and creative art that embody the identity of the place, and the list of artists includes Rashid Al-Shasha’i, Abdul Rahman Al-Shahed, and the French Julian Gardir, in addition to the participation of the Venezuelan artists Oscar Olivares and Felipe Prado. As well as Pencil Foundation, Al Yasar Studio from the United Arab Emirates, and Reggler Studio from Canada.
In the Jax region, the artist Alessandro Petrolini, the Japanese Nakayama Akiko, the artist Marines Henry from Guatemala, and the Indian Manvier will attend works in the region inspired by the identity of Jax. The “Journey into the Renaissance” area provides a three-dimensional experience that stimulates the senses of visitors through modern techniques that reflect holograms and the amazing artistic discoveries of Italian art pioneers Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, in which contemporary Italian artist Medartec participates in creative artworks.
The aim of the festival
The Ministry of Culture seeks from the “Jacks Arts Festival” to enrich the creative neighborhood of Jax with activities that attract art connoisseurs in the Kingdom, and to create a platform for creative communication between Saudi and international artists in the heart of the Kingdom, in addition to making Diriyah an inspiring cultural beacon that contributes to promoting cultural exchange and supporting artistic talents In an integrated creative environment.
