At least three people died and a dozen are missing after a shocking explosion in a residential building in the capital of Jersey, as reported this Saturday by the head of the government of the British island located in the English Channel.
Kristina Moore announced this balance on Saturday night, updating a previous one of a single deceased. Also, two people were hospitalized and around thirty evacuated from the area.
“A great explosion” occurred around four in the morning in a residential building in Saint Helier, in the south of this island located off the French coast of Normandysaid local police chief Robin Smith.

The island experienced another drama this week with the disappearance of three shipwrecked sailors, whose search ended without success on Friday.
