The fairgrounds will be waiting for you with pleasure from next Friday, November 3. The Mons autumn fair has become an unmissable family event, a few weeks before the end-of-year holidays.

Some of the rides will be installed on the Grand-Place in Mons, like other years. Place Louise, near the police station, there will also be the truck offering sweets, pancakes, donuts… The second 2023 site is now known. The fairgrounds will leave the Grand Large to settle in the brand new Place des Congrès, not far from the station. The two sites of the fall fair will therefore become closer. It will be possible to get to both places without taking the car, especially since an underground car park is open under the Place des Congrès.

No less than thirty rides are to be installed in this new location. A working meeting between the fairgrounds and the City of Mons was also organized this Tuesday morning.

“We have changed locations three times,” reacts Carmen François, representative of the fairgrounds. “We went from the station to Grands Prés then to Grand Large. We are back near the station and we very much hope that people will follow us and happily join us on the Congress plaza. »

On the Grand-Place, the rides will remain accessible until November 26, before giving way to the Christmas market. On the Esplanade des Congrès, the rides will remain until Sunday, December 3.
