“The morons believe that the ‘U’ is going to file a lawsuit against me”: Guarello’s chain came off for the “Cachila” Arias case

After a long wait, and a series of cross-examinations that included accusations of all kinds, this Wednesday afternoon the ANFP Disciplinary Court unanimously decided to reject Melipilla’s complaints against the University of Chile, where Los Potros claimed that there were irregularities in the link between the secular club and defender Ramón Arias.

“We had witnesses, legal reports from a high-ranking teacher in labor law, who pointed out that Arias’s is double remuneration. I know there is noise and more than that, it gives us the reason”, lamented Melipilla’s lawyer, Mauricio Acuña.

Just a few minutes later, and knowing that social networks exploded against him, even turning him into trending topic On Twitter, the journalist Juan Cristóbal Guarello, who had access to the “Cachila” contract with the blues and was in charge of delivering a series of background information that was part of the Los Potros complaint, was downloaded on The Tenors of Radio DNA:

“It was very difficult for the ‘U’ to be punished for this, there was a second contract entered into the ANFP, therefore it was not an outside contract. A member of the Chamber told me a month ago, that it was very difficult for this to prosper, because they are different cases. What is the difference? That someone involved leaked his contract to give the ‘U’ a scratch and that’s what happened, “said the controversial communicator about the verdict in the first instance.

Then, he assured that “the ‘U’ is going to criminally prosecute those who leaked the contract. I don’t know if that has any legal basis, but it is going to do it to set a precedent, that private contracts are kept private. I don’t know where that’s going to go.”

And he added: “The truth is that if Melipilla had not happened before, obviously Melipilla would not have gotten involved in this thing because it was not the case and because this is what all clubs do. What the ANFP has to do is order all of this, because one day it may fall to the courts outside or the Internal Revenue Service may be interested and carry out an investigation. There the topic would not be ‘Cachila’ Arias, it would be Chilean football in its entirety, because the way in which remuneration is paid in Chilean football is very eccentric, to put it in some way”.

Later, however, true to form, Guarello exploded.

He exploded against those who, at that time, were criticizing him for the role he played in this boisterous case:

“I want to clarify something for the baboons who got down from the tree and started screaming about the complaints from the University of Chile. The ‘U’ can file a lawsuit against the person who leaked the contract, the one who took it out, exhibited it and delivered it to the people of Melipilla. The morons think they’re going to sue me, I wish they would, because in truth the case would be so weak, so legally insubstantial, that they would do me a favor, because the only thing the ‘U’ would do with that would be mess with the freedom of work and freedom of the press”, he fired.

“I did not steal any contract from anywhere, they gave me a contract and other documents, for example from the Santiago Marathon, and we have exhibited them here. So calm down the baboons, let the revolutions go down, stay calm, the ‘U’ is going to file a lawsuit, I don’t think they will file a lawsuit against me, because they have nothing for that,” he added.

To conclude, Guarello said that “the only way that I would commit a crime is that I would show a contract that would endanger the national security of the country, that could be constitutive, but it would have to be discussed. A footballer’s contract… please!
