The truth is that in March 2023, before the PSOE lost power in the community after the May elections, the regional government already warned the company that it was going to initiate the file to compensate the public coffers. On July 6, with the Socialist Executive still in office, the report was signed to open the claim. But this is already being notified with the new Government of the popular Marga Prohens. The judge in the case at the National Court, Ismael Moreno, has rejected Baleares’ request to appear as a private accusation in the procedure until “the possible damage” caused to the regional Administration by the events being investigated is proven, since these operations were financed with European funds, according to the Efe agency.
