Hexagon leaker Onleaks has released the first images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Unfortunately, the changes seem few.
Samsung’s next foldable smartphones are highly anticipated. Not that we will necessarily rush to buy one, but the sector of foldable smartphones is the one that moves the most, with real design changes with each generation. Just look le premier Galaxy Fold et the latest Galaxy Z Fold dated to be convinced. Unfortunately, the party seems already over on the side of the Galaxy Z Flip if we are to believe the first leak of the design.
Almost identical design
It is OnLeaks who unveils the design of the smartphone for the site 91Mobiles. We are therefore in front of a very credible leak which should materialize in the coming months with an official announcement from Samsung. What we see is a very similar design to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 launched in 2021.
Even comparing the images of ce Galaxy Z Flip 4 side by side with its predecessor, it is difficult to note the differences in design: placement of the port, the speaker, the photo module or even the antennas, everything seems identical.
According to Onleaks, the difference would be mainly on the dimensions of the smartphone. The new Galaxy Z Flip 4 is said to be large at 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm, which is a bit thicker than the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (6.9mm thick), but a little lower (166 mm high for the Flip 3).
Whether Samsung has any bigger changes under the hood remains to be seen. We are thinking of the integration of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, but also of modifications to the photo sensors or even to the hinge of the phone. In the meantime, we must admit that this revelation is a little disappointing.
