In the outgoing week in Russia, sales of a new crossover finally started Haval Dargo 2022. The collection of pre-orders for the purchase of the Chinese model began to be collected at dealerships starting from July 8. In addition, the manufacturer has declassified the configuration and price of the car. At the same time, the appearance and equipment of the “Chinese” have not been a secret for a long time, since the developer issued OTTS for a crossover quite a long time ago, almost a year ago. Immediately after that, the production of new items was launched at the Tula enterprise Haval.
So, the basic version of Haval Dagou 2022 is estimated by the manufacturer at 3.2 million rubles. For the flagship modification Comfort, buyers will have to pay 3.75 million rubles. Regardless of the configuration, a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit will be installed under the hood of the car, which develops 192 horsepower. This engine is paired exclusively with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. In addition, both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are available for the Chinese model. The overall dimensions of the crossover are 4620x1910x1780 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2738 mm. The clearance of the SUV is 200 mm. This is a fairly high figure, so we can safely say that the car will be able to handle serious off-road conditions. The model is suitable not only for daily urban scenarios, but also for outings into nature with the whole family.
One of the main “chips” of the Chinese novelty is its original appearance, which will not allow the car to get lost in dense city traffic. The front part of Haval Dargo 2022 looks the most brutal. It houses a rectangular radiator grill filled with three horizontal slats. Under the very edge of the hood, round headlights are installed in separate niches. Fog lights are located along the edges of the front bumper. In addition, the latter is protected by a massive plastic overlay, which once again speaks of the good off-road capabilities of the model. From the side, the cross looks quite muscular. The car received original wheels and roof rails in terms of design. The square wheel arches are complemented by black plastic protection. At the stern, you can see through-type lights, a compact roof spoiler and a shark fin antenna. Naturally, the rear bumper is also quite massive and supplemented with protection. Separately, we note that the body of the SUV has two colors – orange and dark gray.
The equipment of the new Hawal Dargo 2022 can be called very modern. In the top modification of the crossover, the car is equipped with LED optics, a panoramic roof, 18-inch wheels, and so on. The crossover itself is built on the basis of the LEMON architecture, which underlies all the latest Haval models. Especially for the Russian market, the manufacturer slightly modified the model for domestic operating conditions. So, the SUV was equipped with a more capacious washer reservoir and an automatic start system for the power unit.
The interior of the car received a utilitarian design, combined with brutality. Three displays are installed in the Dargo cabin at once. One of them plays the role of a digital instrument panel, the second is necessary for multimedia control, and the third is for setting up the climate system. The first one is 10.2 inches in diameter and the other two are 12.3 inches. The manufacturer’s decision to paint the door handles and air ducts in orange looks quite original. The list of services available for the Chinese model is represented by adaptive cruise control, knee airbags, automatic braking, a smart reverse system, lane keeping, and so on. In addition, the car has eight different driving modes at once.
