This is an issue that users of the new MacBook Pro M1 Pro / Max would have done well without.
While the new MacBook Pro models seemed flawless both in terms of their design and their components, now, for several days, many users have complained of a finishing problem on their laptop. Indeed, on Reddit, several dissatisfied customers rail against Apple against very light cracking noises.
While using their Macs, some users have noticed a very slight clicking sound when pressing down on the chassis on either side of the TrackPad. A problem which is far from disturbing, but which can of course lead to something more serious if it is left unresolved and gets worse.
According to early user feedback, Apple would take your computer back and inspect the problem. Another user on Reddit complained about an even more disturbing problem: his MacBook Pro makes a very strange noise when it clamps it above the left speaker.
On our side, we did not notice this problem on our MacBook Pro M1 Pro. Fortunately, these would be very minimal problems that seem to have affected only a small part of the users.
