After the legislative elections and the composition of the new office of the National Assembly, the new leader of the opposition has still not been appointed. It should be noted that the UPADS and the UDH-YUKI obtained the same number of deputies, 7 each in the last legislative elections. Article 11 on the status of leader of the opposition stipulates that in the event of a tie between two opposition parties, one must refer to the old results of the last legislative elections of 2017 where the UPADS had eight deputies.
